1. Who is responsible
Broovis Software Limited operates this website and BROOVIS. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions. The website is hosted in Phoenix, United States, and uses Cloudflare for delivery and security.
2. Your media stays local
Video conversion, compression and audio extraction run on your computer. The site does not upload original videos, DVD contents or music tracks. Optional online functions described below are separate from conversion.
3. Optional online requests
CD metadata lookup sends track timing / table-of-contents information to CTDB at db.cue.tools when you request it, not audio. Online activation, refresh and unbind send a license key or signed token and the Device ID to the license service. Startup update checks are enabled by default and can be disabled in Settings; manual checks remain available in About. Update checks request release information without sending media, a license or a Device ID. An installer is downloaded only after you confirm an update; you can close the notice or decline. Any network service receives connection metadata such as the requesting IP address.
4. Download statistics
Download requests record the requested file and version, time, IP address, an approximate country/region when available, response/range, bytes transmitted and transfer outcome. We use these records to understand downloads, diagnose delivery failures and plan releases. A transfer is not proof of installation or a unique person. IP geolocation is approximate and may reflect a VPN or network gateway; missing results remain unknown. No IP is sent to an external geolocation API by this implementation.
5. Diagnostic reports
In BROOVIS, review the diagnostic information, describe the problem and explicitly consent before submitting it. The website does not accept diagnostic file uploads. Reports include the app version, Device ID, OS version, architecture, display language, submission time and optional contact email. Device ID is an app identifier, not a verified identity. Only bounded text diagnostics are sent; the service does not accept or unpack uploaded archives. Reports may contain app version, OS/runtime/hardware details, selected parameters, error messages, timestamps, encoder information and recent logs. Logs can contain local paths or source names, so review them before submission. Supported text diagnostics are filtered for known credential and path patterns, but filtering cannot guarantee removal of all personal information. We store the report and the submitted description under a random report ID for troubleshooting and product improvement. No original media or payment-card details should be submitted. Reports are encrypted in server storage, retained for 30 days and accessible only to authorized support staff through private management access. HTTPS protects transport. Automated filtering cannot guarantee that all personal information is removed.
6. Orders and email delivery
Paddle is the selected Merchant of Record for future checkout. It handles payment information under its own terms and privacy notice. Our licensing service uses necessary order/customer references, buyer email, license status and binding history to fulfill and support purchases. Purchasing is not open at present. This website does not collect payment-card details.
7. Cookies and local storage
This website uses no advertising cookies or analytics SDK. A language preference is saved locally only after you choose a language. Diagnostic submission uses a short-lived request token, not a tracking cookie. The hosting provider and Cloudflare may process connection metadata to deliver and secure this website.
8. Retention and access
Access to support information is restricted to authorized personnel. Diagnostic reports are submitted from BROOVIS, with your consent. Reports are retained for 30 days. Aggregate download statistics are handled separately. Hosting and security providers may retain connection logs under their own policies.
9. Your requests
Contact support with a diagnostic report ID or order reference to request access, correction or deletion, subject to identity verification and applicable obligations. Do not include full license keys, payment credentials or media files. We do not claim that every privacy right applies identically in every jurisdiction; the final notice must explain the relevant rights and legal bases.
